Ashton Fontyn — Outstanding K–12 STEM Educator Award
Eric Garwick — Outstanding K–12 STEM Educator Award
Gordon Richardson — Outstanding Career Awareness Educator in STEM Award

As Orange County’s first elementary STEM school, Robert M. Pyles STEM Academy has a long-standing commitment to providing students with engaging, hands-on learning experiences in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. Having three educators recognized among this year’s 11 countywide honorees reflects the dedication of Robert M. Pyles STEM Academy educators and the school’s strong culture of innovation, exploration and STEM learning.

The Outstanding STEM Educator Awards are presented by OCDE in partnership with Inside the Outdoors and recognize exceptional contributions in K–12 instruction, career awareness, expanded learning, community advocacy and leadership in STEM education.
