Walking through the showcase, visitors were greeted by an incredible variety of projects that highlighted both imagination and engineering skills. Some students designed dancing robots that moved rhythmically, combining basic coding and mechanics to bring their creations to life. Others built elephants with moving trunks, demonstrating an understanding of simple machines and motion.
There were also soccer goals that incorporated interactive elements, showing how students are beginning to think about design and function together. One of the most impressive displays featured artificial hands capable of grabbing items, giving students a chance to explore real-world applications of STEM concepts like grip, motion, and structure.
What made the event especially meaningful was seeing students explain their thinking. They spoke confidently about their design process, the challenges they faced, and how they worked through problems. It was clear that these projects were more than just builds—they were opportunities for critical thinking, collaboration, and perseverance.
We are incredibly proud of our students and the enthusiasm they brought to this showcase. Events like these highlight the power of STEM education in fostering curiosity and innovation at every grade level.
Thank you to our teachers and families for supporting our students as they continue to explore, create, and grow. We can’t wait to see what they build next!
